French publisher Red Art Games has announced that retro-styled platformer DOGURAI is getting a physical release on PS4 by Red Art Games. DOGURAI physical edition will release in Q3 2021 however the pre-orders are starting tomorrow May 8, 2021, at 5 PM CEST exclusively at Red Art Games.
This extremely limited physical edition will be limited to just 999 copies and is expected to sell out really quickly. Each copy will set you back €19,99 and is only planned PS4 so far. Developed by Hungry Bear Games and published by QUByte Interactive, DOGURAI is a platformer inspired by retro 8-bit classics and is set in a world where Police Forces and the Army are replaced by robots.
Everything was fine until their creator goes berserk and decides to take over the world. Now it is up to a retired dog samurai Bones to fight the robot menace and save the world. The game characters are animal-like and presented in true retro form with old portable games in mind. The color range is limited, and sprite sizes are exactly what you would expect from a game that came out for portable consoles back in the early 90s.

- Play as Bones, a very skillful samurai dog! Perform double jumps, slice bullets in half and finish off enemies with special combos!
- Fight through 8 different stages filled with different challenges – from slippery ice to motorcycle rides across the desert.
